		<description>My favorite is to do this with raspberries, but instead of a jam syrup, I use frozen berries.  I just let the bag thaw completely, add a pinch of salt, simmer for 5 or 10 minutes, and run through a sieve.  It&#039;s divine over fat, fresh raspberries, but works amazingly well with all berries.  And the color is unreal.</description>
