by way of Trends in Japan… one of those products that makes you think of course! Dehydrated soy crystals- soy salt!
It’s offered in different grades, and different textures too. Suggested uses are on grilled veggies, pasta, sushi (duh). I’m thinking of its use in desserts- on ice cream, caramel, or popcorn.

Wow — what a great idea! I’m going to ask my Japanese friends to send some.
Wow, I love this idea. I’d love to try it!
I have to have this. Thanks for the heads up.
I admit I was thinking of your salt project with the leaning of we could do this ourselves?
Woo- can you imagine how much that would scent the house?–McAuliflower
Brilliant! I am going to keep my eyes open for this on the shelves.
You can now purchase this salt from The Meadow in Portland. It’s an amazing salt!
Thanks for the heads up Matt- I’ll have to come check it out. Do let us know if you’ve had any particular fun with it.
