Celebrating our Fat, via the Underground

With a special meal on Fat Tuesday!

Tomorrow, Sweets and I are heading out to a Eugene underground restaurant (that just sounds so spicy!), where a celebrated pair of chefs will whip us up a meal to remember:

I’ve been eating good all day in anticipation of tomorrow’s break from my diet.

The smokiness of the bacon permeates the beans without actual bacon pieces being present in the dip. Creamy smooth, garlicky (I love that word!) with hints of smoky bacon and chile spice, I imagine this dip would serve well as a concentrate for instant soup too.
