My slice of tiger bread is happy to see you!
I tried to get fancy and build up the loaf with as many alternating layers of batter as possible. This time around I got seven layers, though I think I like the usual imprecise look better!
I used the cocoa gel from earlier (which I stashed in the fridge) to add to the vanilla batter to create the cocoa layer.
I’m finding that having an unsweetened chocolate in liquid form is very handy in the kitchen. Last night I made quite the smashing chocolate whiskey shake with the cocoa gel to go with Sweet’s White Ice Cream Russian. It was quite splendid topped with a micro-pinch of salt.
