Nice design spotted in Intermezzo Magazine: Vanilla Bean paste in a pump dispenser.
This seems like a great idea for dispensing a thick ingredient that doesn’t dirty up a spoon. Even better is that the product manufacturer, NoMU specifies the pump volume (1 ml) and allows the top to swivel closed to provide an air tight closure for your vanilla.
The crux… doesn’t look like they have online ordering!

I’d like to get my hands on some of that - sounds much easier than scraping beans myself. Any guesses on a price?!
Calypso Imports carries NoMU products in the United States and charges $16.75 for the paste.
I’d probably end up lotioning my hands with it.
Amazon.com has it for $14 and change and free shipping over $25.

does it have sugar? I hate that many ‘vanilla’ pastes, even from surfas or other reputable brands are actually more like a sugary syrup. especially ones at such a bargain price…..
