Do we eventually outgrow the stage of being excited when we find food products with our birthday stamped on as the expiration date?

I still love it when I find MY date on whatever it can be and I am definitely older than you…and I love to find the dates of those in my family as well… Happy birtday soon!
If it’s my birthday backwards and divided by the sum 5 and 2 I get excited. Birth date stamps are awesome.

I don’t think it’s necessary to outgrow it. For about a month before my birthday I make a point of eating food with my b-day as the expiration date. Makes me feel special. As it should. Kinda like getting a birthday card from the universe.
thanks for the birthday wishes everyone! I keep on telling myself that birthdays are no big deal, but these pre-emptive well wishings have got my tummy tingly in that excited little kid way!

Happy belated birthday! I know it’s weird, but I, too, get excited when my birthday is printed on food products etc. And I was quite perplexed, when I watched a movie trailer (months ago, “V” for Vendetta), where they keep saying “Remember, remember, the xxth of November” – actually my birthday!
