J,
Apropos of nothing, I just wanted to tell you how much I enjoy visiting your blog. I love your Current Inspiration corner, among so many other things. Your intelligence and good taste are perceptible. I thank you for your ongoing hard work.
I hope to get up to Oregon this spring or summer, and visit some farms, and would be delighted to meet up with you if you’re around.
T.
I attended the Oregon Truffle Festival (Sunday’s tasting). Had a great time.
I need some truffles. Can you help me locate someone who has some to sell?
I currently live in Garden City Kansas (not the end of the earth, but we can see it from here) but will be moving to Eugene this comming summer.
Thanks,
Milton
- Hi Milton, I’ve bought my truffles from the local grocery stores in town, as they periodically carry black and white Oregon Truffles. I’ve never ordered truffles online, but there are several companies that deliver…
- - Oregon White Truffle
- - and Mycological Natural Products, who was at the Market Place you attended.
- - also the North American Truffling Society may be worth contacting too. They have many organized group forages in the area, and may be able to easily point you to locals who are selling.
Best of luck in your truffle pursuits!
