Hot Buttered Rum CookiesHere’s a great extra credit assignment for kitchen geeks… making baked goods out of unsuspecting base ingredients.

I can’t remember my inspiration, most likely just contemplation of rummy goodness… adding flour to hot buttered rum mix equals great cookies!

With a mixer combine:

Beat till ingredients are combined and look cookie-doughy.
Scoop out into small balls and roll in cinnamon sugar.

Great non-drink use for the batter, McAuliflower. I bet they taste delicious.

Brilliant! I’m knocked out by your ingenuity (and I just love the fact that it yields such a tiny batch of tiny cookies). In case you’re not a regular reader of Lucullian Delights, Ilva cooked up a nostalgic mousse of unusual ingredients:

BTW, that mug looks like something out of Mad Max. :D

  • Oooo I like that idea- the Mad Max line of ceramics!
