Unlike Celestial Seasonings teas which have very little packaging (with most of it recycled) these tea's are a criminal waste of resources. My tin box was inlaid with cardboard and than each tea was wrapped up again. The teas aren't even sealed for freshness! No wonder they are so expensive. Your not paying for the quality of the tea, your paying for garbage. The United States produces enough garbage to cover Texas twice and by choosing companies like this you are directly contributing to the problem. The beautiful thing about capitalism is that your choices can literally change the world. Peace.

My sister gave me a gift pack of Tea Forte products, and it is fantastic tea. I am a big fan of Celestial Seasonings, but I must admit, have the tea leaves and flowers in larger pieces within the pyramid-shaped infuser does give the flavor a certain pop. The price is too high for every day use, but it's a great gift.

Must get those for Mother's Day. Those make me want to landscape an English garden so I can have tea in it every morning.

Yes- I agree :) I'm inclined to order some for myself as a Christmas present this year as they are oh-so-pretty.

The copy on the Tea Forte website makes me suspicious:
"A feast for all the senses, Tea Forte is quite possibly the finest, most elegant cup of tea of all time."
But I do want one of these tea pyramids very badly and I'm generally a loose leaf fanatic.

I love Tea Forte tea bags! They're so cute - I actually bought a couple of the ginger teas and use them when I want to have a 'special' cup of tea and be all ceremonial about it. That picture brings a nice springtime moment in the midst of all that rain outside our windows!!

No kidding! Last night I kept flicking on the weather channel to see if we were freezing yet (only 38F). Everyone from the Seattle area is having fun learning if they can drive in the white stuff. Yes, of course I'm moderately jealous :)
