I just made this for a "garlic party" I'm going to tomorrow and it's delicious! I can't wait to hear what people have to say. The flavors go together so well! Very unique! Thanks :-)

My only complaint is that the caramel took FOREVER to heat. I kept edging up the heat and after 50 mins I gave up when my thermometer finally read 250 degrees. ...and at that point, I couldn't see the garlic, so I couldn't keep track of it's color. No worries though. It came out great.

Hmm, as a love of sweet and savoury, I have to commend you for this stroke of brilliance! I'm imagining the flavours already, possibly with the addition of a bit of red chili powder for a bit of heat. Crunchy, sweet, garlicy and spicy. My heaven.

Mmmm virtual tasting! I'm planning on taking this one to a big cook-off this October. I'm kind of hoping to help get energy going for a garlic dessert category!

I love garlic, but would never have though to combine it with sugar, popcorn and hazelnuts. Sounds wonderfully good. Thanks for the recipe (and the great photos too!).
