McCauliflower - ha ha ha - you really stumped me with that Question. I was thinking - what on earth is she talking about, 2 different types of flour?, then I read the recipe again and the penny dropped. In my silly stupour I must have left out half of the ingredients. No wonder it was all runny! My mum wouldn't have been happy about 5 cocktails in the 1st place. She would have been even less happy knowing I had been ill all day and then gone out for 5 cocktails. Forty next year and still worried about what my mum thinks, tut, tut, tut :)

shame on me
I didn't really want to publicize on my blog (my mum reads it)
I actually had at least 5 cocktails before i made the dough
erhm - i guess i was a little bit tiddly
maybe why i had such runny dough the next morning
i only used one type and it was King Arthur
those muffins were abused and they came out ok
Imagine how marvellous they might be if I actually made them properly whilst sober!!?

x

Thanks for the big grin.

Check out the wonderful English Muffins Sam made!

Tragic about those clams. One of our local fish merchants here has a choose your own option! Although I rarley cook clams, I love mussels and I think that your method could be used on them.

Oh, I love mussels. Our local conveyor belt sushi place, Sushi Station, has Green Lipped Mussels topped wth chili mayo and broiled. Oh my- I could eat soooo many of these!
