		<description>It&#039;s so interesting to me that your farmer&#039;s market choices are different than ours right now - even though we seem to be geographically fairly close.  I know that it&#039;s a climate thing, but very interesting.  For instance, our favas peaked - it seems over a month ago.  And our local asparagus is pretty much long gone.  Hooray for cherries!

&lt;em&gt;I agree.  We are relatively close, but I think we&#039;re colder and wetter.

Eugene had really weird weather this last season too, and I&#039;m curious how its affecting our produce schedules.  Oregon has oddly made up for our winter long drought in the span of one month- and everything seems to be ok.  I was afraid for our strawberries for awhile!

Thanks Moira and Melissa for the picture thumbs up.  There&#039;s great inspiration to be had under our noses and in our blogs!
