Fit to be Thai’ed

The flavor of a restaurant can be wonderfully gleaned from its specials… the scent of which tickled our noses as we first walked in. This evening we choose a house special: Eggplant Garden with Tofu, and a board special: Pumpkin Curry Noodles. Both were perfect concoctions of sweet and heat, with eggplant that surrendered in our mouths like a cherished lover… love at first, second, and twentieth bite! I think I’m in for a long term relationship.

True to the Eugene Scene, all species of food eaters are welcome here: from the ‘fists full of meat crowd’, to the ‘pseudo-vegitarian omnivoures’, to the ‘no face on my plate’ mates. Requests to turn a meal fully vegetarian are honored, and clearly stated on the menu.

Some day, I will leave room in my pie-pockets for dessert from here too (Mmm… sticky sweet rice with coconut ice cream…), but in the meantime, the Sirens of Sweetlife call in too sweet of tones…
